Our Story
Makeri Residence was founded by the Gapira family, rooted in a legacy of hospitality and community love. The family established their initial residence in the early 80s, and the name Makeri comes from the family tree: Gapira is the son of Mboneza, who is the son of Rutabagisha, who is the son of Makeri. The construction of Makeri Residence was completed in November 2023, transforming the family’s cherished home into a luxurious accommodation facility that celebrates their tradition of great hospitality.
Our Mission
In line with our family’s values, Makeri Residence is committed to improving the living standards of the Yorodani neighborhood, where we are located. Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) plan, we aim to implement social programs focused on health and education for the underprivileged residents of the area.

- Two-Bedroom Apartments: Great for families or groups, these spacious units come with two separate bedrooms, large living areas, fully-equipped kitchens, dining spaces, multiple modern bathrooms, and private balconies.
